No Longer Volunteer for PDX Women in Tech

Last night’s Volunteer Info Night (another of their great events) was my last official volunteer effort for the organization. With so much happening right now, I have decided to concentrate my time – and more so here in the Vancouver area. My expectation is that PDX Women in Tech will be more and more a part of the Vancouver area over time. Thus, it is likely I will cross paths with the organization again.

I have my focus squarely set on Get Hired (Tech and Healthcare) and supporting nConnect.

Get Hired (Tech and Healthcare)

Upcoming event: June 10 @ 9a-10a: Guest Speaker William Siebold – Former Art Director at The Art Institute (PDX)

nConnect

Today I supported an area youth Networking Workshop held at the local Barnes & Noble. The event was a valuable one that I think all area schools and youth organizations should conduct.
